Students of Interact Club of Sitalakshmi School sponsored by Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage visited ISRO Exhibition at PKN College today. History of Indian Astronomers, Rocket models, function of Rockets, Design and parts of Satellite, space station and remote sensing were well explained to the students.

Participated on behalf of Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage in the Silambam Competition at Kodaikanal which was organised by the Rotary Club of Kodaikanal. Over 15 schools participated in the mega event.

A Medical Camp was organised by Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage in association with NSS Unit of PKN Girls Hr Secondary School, Thirumangalam. The team of medical staff included Ortho supported by Rtn Dr. Mithran of Muthu Hospital, Dental supported by Rtn Dr. Vijay of Madura Dental Clinic and General Medicine supported by doctors from Meenakshi Mission Hospital. 150 patients participated in the camp. Free medicine was also distributed to all the patients.

The President of Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage Mr Venkatesh C.R participated in the program organised by Rotary Club of Bangkok South - Coins on Silom and contributed 5000 Thai Baht approximately 11,000 INR towards their fund. Vikram Malli Director - International Services
