Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage organised a FLASHMOB to create awareness on Tobacco Usage on the occasion of World Cancer Day at Vishaal De Mall.

Interact Students of CSR School visited the ATL Robotics Expo at Madurai Meenakshi Matriculation Hr Secondary School. Over 400 students attended the expo each day

Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage along with NSS Unit of Meenakshi Matriculation Hr Secondary School and GH, Madurai organised a Blood Donation Camp on 28th January. The President of RC Madurai Metro Heritage also participated in the camp by donating blood.

Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage along with Dhan Foundation, Madurai organised a Walkathon on 28th January. The flag off was done by the Collector of Madurai, Mr. Aneesh Sekar. The theme of the Walkathon was Towards the new social order. RC of Madurai Metro Heritage was one of the sponsors of the event.

The President of Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage was invited as the chief guest on the occasion of the Republic Day by Madurai Meenakshi Matriculation Hr Secondary School. Rtn Venkatesh spoke about the importance of Rotary to the students who were present there.

Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage organised a Career Guidance Program on 25th January at Nallamani School. The session was handled by Rtn Aladi, CEO - AK Consultants. The students were benefited by the program.

Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage organised a session on Child Safety on 25th January at Ayyankottai Government School. The session was handled by Karthiga Devi, Counsellor and Ann Poornima Venkatesh. The students were benefited by the program.

Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage and Thiagarajar College of Arts and Science together visited Nethravathi Center. We visited the home where there were over 50+ old women - most of them abandoned and some of them seriously ill. We spent time talking with the inmates of the home. Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage donated Rs 10,000 to the trust.

Over 12 members of Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage visited Rotary Club of Pondicherry Legacy. Their President Rtn Dr Lakshmi greeted us and we exchanged flags. We discussed about joint programs in the future.
