Weight Loss Challenge Drive

Health is Wealth! Weight Loss Challenge Drive was launched by Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage. Prizes of Rs 5000 and Rs 2500 will be given to Rotarians and the same amounts to Anns who achieve the most ideal weight. The program was launched by Rtn Hemanath and Ann Krishilta

Blood Donation Camp Milanem Mall

On September 17, Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage along with few other clubs did a Blood Donation Camp. Milanem Mall also supported and overall 32 units were collected.

Outbound travel to Thailand & meeting RC Bangkok

11 members of Rotary club of Madurai Metro Heritage participated in the Meeting of RC of Bangkok South The President of the host club - Rtn Patrick welcomed us and presented us with a local gift. We also presented an Indian local souvenir to the club and also exchanged flags.

Outbound Trip to Thailand

13 Rotarians from our club went on a fellowship outbound trip to Thailand for 4 days. This created a good bonding among the members.

Teacher's Day Award Function

Rotary Clubs of Madurai, Central, Meenakshi, Elite, Star, Blossom and Metro Heritage jointly celebrated Teachers Day Award Function on 6th September at V Grand Hotel Successfully. Totally 26 Teachers were given awards by our District Governor Nominee.Rtn.R. Raja Govindasamy Sir. Nearby 140 members and Guests participated in the event

Awareness on Child Safety at Sitalakshmi School

Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage organised an Awareness Session on Child Safety at Sitalakshmi Girls Hr Secondary School The speaker was Karthiga Devi, Social Activist. Over 200 students benefited from this session.

Teachers Day Awards - Nation Builder Award

Nation Builder Award was given to Mrs. Nirmala Kumari of Sitalakshmi Girls Hr Secondary School and Mrs Kaladevi of CSR Matriculation Hr Secondary School. This award is sponsored by Rotary India Literacy Mission and Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage.

Session on Drug Abuse @ Thiagarajar College of Arts

Awareness Program on Drive Against Drugs was organised by Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage at Thiagarajar Arts College. Over 300 students benefited. The session was handled by by Dr Babu, M.S.Chellamuthu Trust

Safety Campaign for Construction Workers - Velammal

Safety Campaign was conducted by Velammal Medical College and Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage at Palanganatham, Madurai. Overall 25 construction workers were educated and blood pressure/blood sugar tests were done.
