Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage organised a Green Campaign with the children of YWCA Greenz Nursery and Primary School, Manickampatti. Children of the YWCA school planted fruit saplings today in presence of their parents who had come to visit them. The President of the YWCA Mrs. Nirmala Santhosham thanks RC of Madurai Metro Heritage for donating the saplings.

The President of Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage exchanged flags with Rtn Ayse of RC of Istanbul Anatolia International.

The Goodwill Mission to Turkey was significant for the Rotarians in an unexpected way. The 125 Rotarians of Rotary District 3000 met with District 2420 Governor Suat, Past RI Director Safak, PDG Kara, President Ayse of RC of Istanbul Anatolia International and few members of the club and handed over the generously contributed funds to them. The funds were mobilised from District 3000 and a cheque for 325,000 Turkish Lira (Approximately 14 lakh Rs) was given to them.

On the Charter Day of our Club, February 21, we launched an Anti Drug Campaign in Madurai. Hoardings, Banners, Standees, etc. have been placed in 30 locations across the length and breadth of Madurai in Member’s locations. A total of 16000 square feet of space has been used for the campaign.

Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage celebrated their 3rd Charter Day by providing free food - Anna Dhanam to the needy in JIPMER, Pondicherry. This project was carried out with support by Rotary Club of Pondicherry Legacy

Rotary Club of Madurai Metro Heritage organised an Awareness Session on Career Guidance at YWCA School The session was handled by : Rtn Aladi Arun, CEO AK Consultants The students were benefitted by the session.
